SkillsetGroup is seeking a Training Coordinator to work in the city of Gardena, CA area.
Preferred candidates will have experience with the Employment Training Panel (ETP), which provides funding to support employers in upgrading their workers' skills for better-paying, long-term jobs. Responsibilities include coordinating training schedules across all company departments, tracking and generating reports on training outcomes, and maintaining comprehensive training records. Job:
- Title: Training Coordinator (HR Background might work too)
- Direct Hire
- Pay: $22-26/hr. for hourly individual (1-3 years exp.)
- $32/hr. for salaried individual (4 years exp.)
- Shift: 1st shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, some flexibility with hours
Details:
- Someone with Employment Training Panel (ETP) experience is a Hugh plus - (provides funding to employers to assist in upgrading the skills of their workers through training that leads to good paying, long-term jobs)
- Coordinate training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
- In charge of internal communication (EM, correspondence, etc.)
- Help with Safety topics – as needed.
- Train new hires in company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose.
- Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
- Programs used: Adobe Illustrator and Alchemy if have a BIG plus.
- Bilingual is STRONGLY preferred.
